Q: Why does my knee hurt all of the time and no one can find a cure for it?

A: Knee pain can originate from many different areas of the body. It can come from faulty biomechanics in the ankle, foot, pelvis, low back, or hip region. A lot of knee injuries start due to simple muscle imbalances that lead to biomechanical errors over time. I can find these subtle errors by watching a patient perform a series of functional tests. By having the patient perform simple functional exercises and stretching the muscles that are to tight, we can relieve the majority of the cases of knee pain. In the cases that aren’t muscle related we also check to see if the gallbladder is functioning correctly. As weird as that sounds, gallbladder dysfunction is one of the most common causes of knee pain. Due to the poor diets that we eat here in the south, gallbladder dysfunction is very common, and a lot of the time missed. If you have knee pain that no other professionals can figure out give us a call.
